Peacehaven Farm is a community of people, some with and some without disabilities, that come together to work the farm, build relationships and share life. It is a place that values and receives the gifts of all people. The farm provides the environment to connect with other people and with nature through educational and vocational activities that engage disabled and non-disabled people in a shared purpose. 

Friends of l'Arche North Carolina hopes to raise money and awareness for Peacehaven Community Farm, which is based on the l'Arche model. The Peacehaven Farm Walk invites walkers of all ages and abilities to enjoy a beautiful afternoon at the farm - rain or shine! Come and enjoy our rolling pastures and help raise money for Peacehaven. Grab a few friends to join you as we get some fresh air and exercise while exploring our 89 acres that includes Susan’s View - our first residence, a permanent home for adults with special needs.  

The course is only 1-2 miles long; you can choose how long you want to stroll! Walkers, wheelchairs and strollers are welcome! (We love it when service dogs visit, but otherwise please leave pets at home.) Please join us to celebrate the peace and wonder of the land and our unique community where the values of service, sharing and recognition of every individual’s gifts offer a model for our world.
